Engaging new materials and the client’s love of color allowed us to transform their 1970s kitchen into the perfect blend of function and style. The blue and white floor-to-ceiling encaustic tiles give the kitchen a sense of permanence. Another special feature in the kitchen is the counter height, which was raised so that the client’s 6’9” tall husband could be comfortable when cooking. The built-in Pecan dining table attached to the island allows the family to sit down and eat a casual dinner together every night.
From the Client
…we have a house that is incredibly personalized, beautiful, and better than anything we ever expected to own. Best, it is not overly flashy or over-designed, which you see all too often with remodels.
